Well named property
We booked online which didn't make it clear that the room we'd chosen was upstairs. However, when reception staff realised one of us could not climb stairs we were given a groundlevel room which had excellent disability access and an ideal wheelchair access bathroom. Comfort Inn is close to the main street but not noisy, with pleasant gardens and welcoming staff.
Port Fairy is a delightful village with historic houses and buildings. We drove north through the famed western district pastoral country with its many beautiful towns. The Geelong bypass has made a big difference to the trip from Melbourne.

Definitely not a value for money. We stayed in Studio Room, which was clean but very small. Not much space around the room for your luggage. We had to park on the street because all Studio Rooms are not guaranteed to have a car bay available to use.

The owners were very helpful on advice for the surrounding areas. Checking for us to see whether one of the venues was still opened.

The room was beautifully presented and the views were evident. Extra thought to smaller details was welcomed. Clean, comfortable and private; assistance given where needed. Well provided for family needs.
Lovely town to drive around; not there long enough to visit. Few shops entered were good value. Development of bigger hotels may challenged B & B's.
